I enjoyed reading a physical copy of the Chieftain, but the digital copy is smaller, never blows away and is delivered daily right on time! I’m enjoying the ease and convenience!

I had always enjoyed reading the newspaper first thing in the morning with coffee, and this app makes it possible to read it faster and whenever or wherever I want without killing trees or lugging around a bulky paper! The only thing is that the app needs the bugs worked out. It hangs up some when swiping left or right and zooming in and out. You kind of have to play with it to get it to work just right. But other than that I enjoy it! 😊

The Chieftain is one of a vanishing breed of small city newspapers. It has a storied history since the 1860s, and still has a local viewpoint in a classic steel city, even though the Rawlings Family sold the paper in recent years.

The problems with the text flashing back to the beginning of the article or the app seem to be resolved. Also the text had trouble showing the f and ff letters. Once I figured out what letter was missing from some words, I adapted. In fact when the problem was corrected, I did not notice for a while.

For many months now app has been crashing and closing out every time I try to read digital Pueblo Chieftain. I have contacted Pueblo Chieftain and GateHouse several times by telephone, emails, and left voicemails. Nothing has been done to correct problem. I would give this app and their customer concern zero stars but review is requiring that I give minimum of 1 star. Very close to cancelling my subscription.

Pages load...then content disappears. App closes on its own when you are in the middle of reading an article. Not a good app....lots of bugs that need to be fixed

The app does not work correctly after the latest Apple update. The pages are either blank or the app stops working all together. Last app update was a year ago. New update needed ASAP or I am cancelling my subscription.
  • Crashes Every page

Since I installed the new iPadOS this app has crashed on every page I try to read. Also they don’t fact check. Such as PUEBLO CARES is a grass root campaign when it is actually a paid consultant for Black Hills Energy. They are also bias in their reporting.
  • Doesn’t work

I recently signed up for this, and am glad it is only for a month, because it doesn’t work. The first page loads, then when I swipe to the second page (page view) the printing in some of the stories disappears, then when it starts to fill back in, the app crashes. Useless! iPad gen 7, iOS 14.0 128gb. There doesn’t seem to be a link anywhere to contact support?
