    Paying subscribers cannot access a popular article without the app crashing. The Stribs remedy was to tell me to use the desktop site instead. Wow!

    App keeps crashing for certain articles. The Link Share doesn’t work - it says ‘undefined’ when I copy and paste the link into a text message. Please fix this basic functionality so I can read and share Star Tribune articles!
  • Garbage

    This app is my sole connection to my Star Tribune subscription. As such, it is garbage. I cannot count how many times the app crashes when I try to load an article .. it would be easier to count how many articles I CAN actually read. Tonight? Three .. three articles loaded and allowed me to read them. Planning to delete the app and cancel my subscription because at this rate I get more Minnesota news from other sources. Pathetic.

    Really want to support local media, really impossible when the app crashes any time I try to load a story on my iPhone 12. Even the dodo tried harder to survive.
  • Star Tribune App is the worst!!

    I unfortunately re-subscribed to the Star Tribune since many of their stories are desired reading. I dislike reading e-editions since it is no different than the actual newspaper and more time consuming to use. So the best way to use is via signing in to web view on phone. Wish they would get there act together but then again we are talking about Minneapolis not New York Times or WSJ. Sad and disappointing especially at their high subscription rate.

    This app started loading yesterday. I’ve totally closed it and restarted it multiple times. No joy. It’s totally broken. C’mon, StarTrib!

    Always seems to be issues with updates on iPhone app. Right now, can’t open home page at all. Sad thing is the only reliable access is the dead tree version, which they have essentially made cost prohibitive.
  • Runs okay for me

    I like getting news from professional journalists and this app has helped me get that news. The app itself has worked well for me so far, but I’m sure the other low ratings may indicate that there is more work to be done, and hopefully soon. While I like having an app, I’ve found that with my subscription the eEdition works even better from my browser - I really enjoy that experience. Thank you StarTrib for all the great reporting.
