  • Latest version is a nightmare

They updated the app and introduced tons of bugs. The portfolio view moves total fund performance as of it was a stock. Total performance used to be stuck at the top of the screen. Crashes all the time. Terrible update.
  • One star for app. 5 stars for content

I can’t believe that Bloomberg can’t invest in a good app developer. This app is bad, crashes, freezes, full of ads even though you spend $34 monthly for content. Constantly tells you that you are using an old browser when you have the latest browser installed on your iPad. This is the same story by the way for the android app. They need to get rid of the geeks that can’t develop a stable app. I am interested in reading the content vs trying to get this app working
  • Will Drop this subscripton

I will unsubscribe for two reasons. 1) Bloomberg is to politically inclines, I want objective information not a partisan View. 2) Bloomberg makes it expensive and complex to access with unfriendly access requirements and double checks. It's just not worth the hazle.
  • Crashing

The app has been crashing for several weeks now when I try to look at the Businessweek magazine archives and download/delete issues. This happens on both my iPhone and iPad, and I can only get it to work intermittently, so I assume it’s an issue with the latest version of the app. And, as others have mentioned, for the prices we pay for our subscriptions, I expect better.

In this case listening is for me better than seeing, so I prefer to tune it at Sirius

  • Too many ads

I pay monthly for Bloomberg, but every time I want to listen for a couple minutes I have to listen to several minutes of ads. It’s pretty crazy because I can just listen to a different source without the terrible ads. At least have an ad-free version. This is why I’m ending my Bloomberg subscription.
  • Too many ads

The news is good but there are too many commercials. And the video feed stops whenever anything of real interest is being announced. What’s left is just reading the articles.
  • Slow and Freezing

The app has become resource hungry and freezes a lot. Performance improvements according to its version history cannot be noticed. To the contrary, the device gets very hot after just a few minutes of reading. Support from the developer is miserable as well. It’s a pity because the content is top.
